Shifty Operation Update
Just thought I'd keep you informed...
Chris went into the hospital today, and the first thing he did was get a pay card thing so he can use his own telly, internet and phone....
And in typical man style
proceeded to complain that when he registered with the operator to use the telly they registered him as MRS Chris (Hoping that he's going in for the right operation now!!) and then started to moan that he couldn't get his internet access as he wanted to come on here and check up what I was putting!!
The anethestist came round while me and his mum was still there and told Chris (to his horror) that he'd have an injection in the morning to numb his hand then an injection to put him to sleep....
I can't believe a bloke can be more scared of a needle than major surgery on his back!!!
Anyway I'll try and keep you all informed of his progress

Well its operation day and Chris is 2nd on the list so I'll be phoning him this morning when I get to work to see if he's got over his fear of needles yet so I'll pass on all your best wishes

Poor thing its only the tap for the drip that would go into his hand

Yvette - tell me about it he's got me to take all next week off work to go and look after him and nurse him!!! Though he wants to behave otherwise I might just take the staples out of his back for him

Spoke to Chris this morning, he still sounds rather dopey (bless him) he's still a bit sore but Doctors are getting him walking today so hopefully everything will be ok for him to come home on Friday!!

I did put in a good word for Chris to have a male nurse in PVC and a badass moustache.
