So I sold the Scoob after 8 years of owning it. It's been replaced with this

The new type r is a completely different machine when I test drove it it's a proper bit of kit. And has rear doors for the kids haha!

It's killing me waiting for it but it will be worth it

Perfect family car

So your getting a new car in December and you have an ep3 spare... Fancy doing secret Santa?

There are a lot of good tuning companies snapping these up so there will be plenty of scope for more power / fun when you want it.

What sort of money would you want for it if you do sell it?

Got this beauty delivered on the 11th just hit the 500 mile mark ! Wow what a machine it handles like you wouldn't believe! There is hardly any wheel spin in the dry ! Goes very well for 310bhp ! Feel quicker then my Impreza atm,

Love it!

What's the mid range punch / overtaking ability like on these? Also, what's the build quality like?

Also wet traction? never had more than a 250bhp fwd car and that struggled.

I really like these though, congrats and enjoy!

Mid range is good with 400nm tourqe it goes in ever my gear the VTEC/turbo combo works really well together giving next to no lag at all.

The build quality is tbh high it's Amazin quality for a jap car

What's the lead time on one of those at the mo?
I've got the new Focus RS on order and the Scoob went a couple of months ago. I'm anticipating delivery of the RS in the summer but if it gets pushed back I'd get bored waiting so would consider the Civic.

I went to have a look at one this morning. Very nice cars! Bit dull in blue but that's personal preference

I think Honda might have a problem when the new focus arrives though. 30k for a FWD hot hatch or 30k for a 4 wheel drive hot hatch? It's a no-brainier IMO.

The lead time is 3/4 months still, but well worth the wait. And tbh th I way it handles and drives you wouldn't think it was FWD there is next to no wheel spin in the dry the diff is awesome works amazingly well.

I think whEn the new RS pop ups the type r will have the legs
