Default alcatek ecu~ engine check light

hi scoobynet guys and gals, on giving the car a fairly hard blast in 1st and 2nd when the revs reached approx 7000 rpms the engine check light flashed then I moved to 2nd again at same revs light flashed up, is this knock detection? or gear shift light doing its job? car mapped by BR and using v power only alcatek ecu.

Could be either shift light or knock detection. Depends on how the ecu has been set

indeed , the revs went up to 7000 bit quicker than I thought they would! did an oil change using mobile 3000 fully synthetic that afternoon, I swear its given the engine more go ...... placebo effect im not sure? but sure feels quicker than before. thanks jay and chaps for the above info.
