Default PPP verification?

What is the most secure method of determining if a car has the PPP kit fitted.
I know you can look at the exhaust etc etc. but is there a sure fire way to find out.

You can look at the exhaust and the y pipe, but the ecu is a bit more difficult to look at on a viewing, and if the certificate is not available how else can you make sure.

The sticker on the door shut should be there as per above post. If the current owner doesn't know or not sure, then highly unlikely it is, so assume its not.

So are they not all entered on to a data base somewhere, or can different companies fit them and therefore not bother.

Yeah every car that has it fitted is registered you can get it fitted from the factory or added later but it would still be registered and a cert issued.SJ.
