Hi guys looking some advice. I bought myself a 2005 sti imprezza about 3 months ago I love the car but can't enjoy driving it as the fuel is killing me can't afford to drive it very often and when I do drive it like a old man. Just looking advice on a gas conversion would you guys recommend or is it a bad idea. Thanks.

bad idea, why not sell and buy a cheaper classic to give a bit of spare cassh for running it?

Do it, just get a good quality conversion done by a reputable fitter. A prinns or brc.

Oh and don't tune the Impreza too much.

No she's standard imprezza with the PPP pack from new. Do you have yours done?

I've had my old Legacy converted. I know of others with neigh on 300hp Legacies on gas.

The Impreza will be fine and you get approx 200 miles to £30 worth of gas.
