hi all, if i can get hold of a ecutek in a j2 ecu licenced, can i put it in my e3 ecu??

is there a slot for the ecutek or does it need soldering??

Ecutek is not a chip/slot its a software update on the ecu, so you would replace the complete ecu

j2 ecu is a jdm sti ecu and is not a straight swap into a uk car as from what i remember the fuel pump and possibly crank sensor use different ecu pins.

another sorry gambit does a y7 come from a uk2000 and will it fit in for my e3 uk without any wiring changes??? as a y7 jgm ecu has come up thanx again mick
