i mean, couldn't you just control maximum boost with the right foot? Unless you want to have a designated valet mode for your son or similar, i don't get it. If one wanted to improve MPG, wouldn't one just be easy on the gas?

I run mine in the sportiest mode but use a lesser map for warm up, the sportier mode is too quick for my wife who uses the middle map.

You can have different maps for different fuels as well as different boost levels. Iv got low & high boost on V power only & the same on 20% meth. I usually only use high boost but at 460BHP my V3 can be a handful in the wet & occasionally I will turn it down on the cal switch whilst driving, just to keep it on the sensible side.

As above, different fuel mixes and it also depends on your power level IMO, at 350bhp not much point in different boost settinbgs but if you're running 450 then you may want a lower setting.

I've run Syvecs and Motecs... Only had one map and that's been full power, if I want less power I don't push the accelerator down as much
