My ESL stuff has arrived :)
As the title says, my ESL kit has arrived for my 97 Turbo 2000!!!!
I couldn't wait and have installed it all already so I can get up early in the morning to start playing with the laptop.
Everything looks promising, I just have to get my head round how all the maps work and how they affect each-other.

Hi mate, I live in Brazil and I have interesting to buy a ESL kit too. Is it easy to install? I do not know anyone that has ESL installed in his car in Brazil. Could you show me the directions, like website, instructions to learn more about it? Thank you and congratulations for you car. I have one Impreza GT version 4, it is like your turbo 2000. Cheers.
What sort of stuff did you change on yours??
The install was easy enough but it's certainly not for the inexperienced. You really need to have a lot of soldering experience, a good temperature controlled solder station, a desoldering pump and decent solder. I like to use leaded solder, costs more but it's better in my opinion.
For the small fee that ESL charge, let them do it!
I took a few photos of the various stages. I might put them on for people to see what's involved.
