hi was just wondering if I put and induction kit and decatted my 2008 sti ppp hatch would it need mapping again to run right.

 

no point in open induction kit unless going for 400+ bhp or running a front mount ic , yes will need a map tweek for decat and induction

I was gona go down the induction route,but after reasearching on here theres no need , I use a green panel filter and 3inch straight through on my 1999 ppp works well, im changing the turbo soon and putting a big front mount on but want to try and keep the original air box, ive seen a couple of examples on here but seems quite tricky to do,there was a thread debating open induction vs standard airbox I read last night that turned into a bitching session between a couple of members, well worth a read lol

 

lol might have a read through that I just want to b able to hear the turbo spool more

 

I hear mine with the radio turned off ,nothing like the sound of a turbo spinning up,
