Can I just swap the ECU?
Hi,
I have a 2002 bugeye sti type uk prodrive and I have been given a remapped ecu out of another car same year, make and model. Can I just swap them over or does it need to be programmed to the car?

You would always get slight differences between cars even with similar mods. Best to stick with the original ecu until you can arrange mapping of your new one. What sort of ecu is the new one?
