My brother in law has just bought the car above and we have checked to see if the ecu is ppp as it feels a bit slow for 265hp.

The ecu says 6c and has some marker pen writing saying wrx 03 which to me suggests it may have been a part labelled up on a shelf.

It does not say ppp or prodrive anywhere on the outside of the ecu casing.

So how do I check to see if it is indeed ppp?

 

I think they used the same ecu for ppp and non-ppp cars but it should have a gold sticker on it, Also ppp cars came with the same sticker on the drivers door opening/ door shuts.

 

Mines got sticker in door frame and certificate and is still poo slow lmao
