Default Re-map on classic

Hi,
I am hoping to buy a classic running prodrive but realise there aren't loads readily available.if I bought a standard classic and had it mapped what figures could be realistically achieved with no other mods?
Thanks

A later classic mapped via Ecutek normally realises 260-280bhp/lbft on standard turbo with Stage 1 mods. i.e. panel filter swap, full exhaust swap (with Sports cat/decat) and most people advise a fuel pump swap for safety.

Which is more of course than a PPP which is 240.

Perhaps consider the alcatec ecu and vf34 turbo u could arrive at 340 bhp which is safe on standard internals plus u get als And the lc . Approx 1600 pounds. Plus fuel pump and a fuel regulator - extra 350 ish .

I'm not too bothered about chasing big bhp,not to start with anyway ;-) but just wanted somewhere around 250-260bhp as ive been in a ppp and found that quick enough for now.dont want to be spending a lot more on it straight away.what extra cost is there on the ecutek way apart from panel filter and exhaust?is it a replacement ECU?

No mate, remap of your existing ECU.

Do the exhaust and panel filter, then get it remapped straight away. Remap is about £600.
