Default Can open source maps do what ecutek racerom does

Hey folks just wondering about this

So of you may know I used to have a blob with s syvecs

But now I have a hawkeye and I'm wanting a remap

Can an open source map give you the same features as a ecutek racerom map can?

Steve

Some of the features are available, not all though. As above what exactly are you looking for?

Carberry is a 16 bit ROM, his car is 32 bit.

US only isn't it? Must admit I don't take much to do with the 32 bit developments.

no you cant affy - sorry. Just buy a new maf

There really isnt any need to go mafless until well over 450 bhp on the hawk and the current obsession for running mafless is a little weird imo. The std ecu is perfectly fine to 500+ (I ran mine to 540bhp) before it starts fighting you a little more than it should be. Rather than trying to get the std ecu that was designed to do a certain job very well by subaru to do a completely different job using code that isnt 100% tested IMO, best bet is to get a proper ecu such as syvecs to run it after that level.

Whilst I agree with what you have said below, you can go SD on 32 bit ecus on opensource or Ecutek should you want to
