Can anyone give me some idea of the gains I could get by having a remap, I have a 1996 wrx jdm

Also any idea what I could safely get if I add a full decat in too.

 

I don't think you can map the early cars without an esl board or something like that.

As for the mapping expect to see a different car more drive ability better power torque obvious supporting mods will help decat fuel pump panel filter.
