AFR'S
Hi all
I am in the process of getting up to speed with o/s mapping for my car and have a quick question.
i have been logging for a while and have come accross a couple of small issues that i have a plan of atack on when my openport arrives but i have just fitted my wideband and now i see that on WOT my afr's are 11.9 and goes no richer. So my question is, is this a safe level to be running a daily driver on as most of the info i have come accross so far points more to the low 11's for a safe daily driver.
Now as i already said i have a few tweeks lined up from my logs so far but am thinking if the 11.9's are a bit close for comfort then i will prob put back to stock and start again.
Any feedback greatly appreciated -
Thanks
Jamie

Bit of a grey area and personal preference I think mate , I personally have run as lean as 12.1 and that was regarded as the limit and borderline risky , low 11s is preferable
But IMHO getting nearer the 12s you are getting close to the edge but not 100% blow up territory

Thanks guys
I did think about fuel pump and have actually replaced about 3 weeks ago, and in that respect i was mapped on a std pump and have replaced with a 225lph pump so i would have thought if it had any affect it would have richened it slightly.
I am just waiting for my tactrix so i can actually pull my map of the ecu and see what the actual targets are.
I do hope ther is a slight prob somewere as i asked for a safe map when done.
