Default Bov

Hi peeps I brought a atmospheric bov I while ago and put it on the took it off,then yesterday put it back on.
Does it do any harm or good at all or is it users preference?

Users preference.does help to get the car mapped though or you might experience ruff running.

Some folk say they've had no problem others say they have !
I keep hearing have it mapped for a aftermarket DV
How does this work because as far as I can see there's no provision in the rom for compensating unmetered air ?
It's either metered or not
If a pro mapper could explain how ?

I used to have a atmospheric dump valve on my mapped 05 JDM STI. I had problems with the idle speed and stalling. Changed back to origional recirc and car idles perfectly. Steve.
