Hi guys,

Bit of background I have bought the car as a non runner, but with a printout from powerstation included saying the car was tuned to 270bhp.

Took the ecu cover plate off to reveal the box yesterday and it has "Scooby Chip fitted '08 - 16psi" written in pen on the box has a sticker on it saying "7D"

I didnt have the tools to take the actual ecu box cover off to get a picture of the chip but wondered what likely there is to be inside, whether powerstation use a generic chip etc?

7D is the subaru designation for your ecu,and you only need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the ecu box lid iirc.

I would suspect the chip has just got a generic map on it...why not ask Powerstation about it?
