right this may sound weird, ive just popped to my mates and funny f***ers like they are decided to unbolt my backbox, i only notice as i walked to car and it was angled, the want me to start it to see how much louder is it "/ is it going to cause any problem with running? surely its no different to putting a more fre flowing system on there?

just wanna be sure before i run the car

I ran my car with only the down pipe on yesterday! Sounded unreal!!!!!

 

i started mine up when i was fitting my cat back, it sounded good, but not as loud as i was expecting

 

Turbos sap a lot of noise

We ran a corsa sri with just the manifold at college to show the difference the exhaust system has on silencing it.

Was rediculously loud.

 

while fitting my exhaust this morning thought i would go 1 better as just the backbox off wasnt much different, here it is from the de-cat centre pipe

 

A few years ago after a Scooby met I was driving home and suddenly sounded like I was driving a tank but with now go. The headers had snapped at the collector.
