Dear Members,Scooby Owners
I have a 1998 Impreza 2000 AWD 218PS and im going to upgrade it now with couple of nice new parts!
I bought couple of new parts which gonna be installed on it:
- FMIC Intercooler(3" pipes)
- TD05H16G upgraded with 18G Compressor house and wheel(not Chinease)
- 550cc side feed injectors
- Exedy Stage 1 Racing clutch(pink box) with normal flywheel
- NGK BKR8EIX sparks
- Mine`s fuel boost regulator
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- Stainless Steel Manifold Header
- 3" Whole way round exhaust
- OBX Boost Controller
- Innovate LC1 Wideband
- MAP-ECU
I try to choose quality parts and the total price its shows as well what i spent on it already,BUT
my question is gonna be if we install everything properly into my scooby for how much horsepower i can count maximum with this installation on what boost is gonna be the max and what you recommend as HP for a long time use with what boost level??
Pls write me back guys as soon as possible because we gonna do this project in a two weeks time!

- 440cc injectors
- Exedy 230mm STI clutch
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- 2.5 Turbo back exhaust decat or sports cat.
- MAP-ECU / ESL or Apexi

The gearbox's are quite weak, but assuming everything else is in good order with not to many miles on the clock then your target or close to should be achievable with your list. Boost is not a consistent measure or power, however 1.3-1.4 bar would be in the correct region. Your mapper or tuner will decide this for you.

I would guess 350hp would be achievable with a good tune. Pretty similar to my setup but im using ESL as a ECU setup. I blew my my old year box (ty752) with around this power. The newer TY754 gear box is still holding up!! Possibly 1.5 bar then back to abour 1.3-1.4 at the red line ive head is a good combo for the td05

My car is a bit of a bits'er, Its actually a 96 built version 2! Lucky enough I got the closed deck version engine!
Have to say that around this power is bloody good fun in a street car....400 would be nicer though!

Check the features of MAP-ECU and whether it is able to map ignition timing, it used to be a fuel cut defender and S-AFC effectively but allowing speed density.
I can't remember what my 550s were on my MY00 UK turbo, but they didn't have nice atomisation or something, because the stockers and 740cc idled much smoother.
