Hi guys

I'm looking for a cost effective, easy to use and setup knock/pre ignition detection device to enable me to setup my ecu. I would like audible feedback thru headphones and also visual thru my laptop

I will eventually be tuning a variety of engines from an rb25det (twin knock sensors), ej20/25 and turbo gsx-r, mainly using a motec m84 ecu (not compatible with motec OKM or SKM), so if possible compatibility with that would be useful to enable me to setup safety features. I dont mind swapping bits and bobs over when needed, if it saves a few quid. the ecu will need to be swapped over anyways as that will be running all the cars

What would the engine tuners out there recommend?

I think the Link KnockBlock would meet most of your requirements, BRDevelopments are a Link supplier (or at least Bob always was). I don't know what inputs that ecu has, and what you can configure off them though.
