Hi guys it's my first impreza so I don't have alot of knowledge! It's a 98 wrx that's been mapped to 299bhp along with exhaust, dv, induction, that's All Iv come across so far as the previous owner also didn't know a thing about it! The mapping on It isn't great as its not very smooth along the revs, is there anywhere near Lincolnshire that's not to pricey, also can a non sti still have anti-lag installed, if so does anyone know how much it costs to have it installed maybe launch control to!?

Are you running aftermarket ECU(SimTek/AlcaTek,ESL,Link,MoTeC,Syvecs etc.),if not you will need to run aftermarket ECU mentioned as above,on some ECU you will need pay extra for this,on some is included

On New age WRX/STi can be enabled LC/ALS without the problem on OEM ECU,but on classic you will need aftermarket ECU

Hi Jura, What mapper can enable ALS on oem ecu i have blob wrx

 

simply put dont bother, anitlag will kill it unless its so mild it does sod all

 

I dont get on with my neighbours at all so i thought they might like it as a present, I know the damage that it can cause, Mild als would be plenty plus it would be switched off 99%
