Default hawkeye more power with prodrive package?

Guys, i am pretty sure this has come around often. I am a newbie to this forum plus have just purchased my first subaru. Any help will be appreciated

I have a 2007 hawkeye wrx that i just purchased and got the prodrive pack put in. Running at 265bhp at the moment. I am now interested in increasing more power to my car. I am looking into a bigger turbo VF34 and replacing my stock tmic with the sti tmic. Plus getting a remap done.

My aim is to get up to 300-310bhp. Would the mods mentioned above get me to 300bhp or would i need to upgrade other parts as well.

I was in uk when i got the prodrive put in. The vehicle is now in high seas coming to Dar Es Salaa, Africa. would like to purchase all these and install them once my car comes to Dar and then get it remapped.

You should see that with a VF34 and STI top mount. Don't forget, you'll need a fuel pump as well

Andy, thank you for the advise. Adding the tmic and vf34 would it be necessary for a remap or would i feel the power without a remap?

which remap is worth looking into: uni chip (piggy back) or simtek?

Yes will need remapping. The o/e ecu can be remapped with the correct software. No need for chips or aftermarket ecu

Hi,

I have exactly that spec e.g. 2.5 Hawk WRX with upgrade to VF34, STi TMIC, STi prodrive sportcat, 2.5inch exhaust, Walbro fuel pump + remap (very necessary otherwise you'll most likely kill your engine)

Makes 319bhp 520nm @ 3100rpm on standard 95ron unleaded

On track you will find that std 4pot brakes are not adequate, I have upgraded to ksport 330mm - loads better!

Cheers,

AJS

You paid £1500 or so to have the Prodrive pack installed, or was it on when you bought it?
