Default identify ecu please.

I have just recevied the ecu that was running the engine I have just finished fitting. On the Tin it says U8 but is a 3plug. the engine came from a sti v3 type r which i have read should be a 6s ecu

i looked around the ecu and noticed screws missing so opened it up. The number on the PCB is A19-001 DC2 (N), N is in a box. On the larger chip its got A12-212 750 and 808B101. On the smaller chip its got A12-212 802, SC407839CFN, C11W 185 and finally SSAK9818B

Is this a 6s in U8 clothing?

Thanks

Rich

Ooh interesting. does that plug in to a uk loom without having to change cam crank and fuel pins like the 6s? Also is it still an orange label maf to match the 75?

Pin out same between 6S and 75, so cam crank and fuel different to UK. I think the MAF is the same.

Fitted the 75 today, took me ages to figure out how to get the pins out of the plug but finally did. put orange MAF on also and runs lovely. I bust a wire on the lambda when swapping engines so just gotta sort a new sensor out.

What fuel is the 75 ecu setup for? and whats the minimum ron i should put in to keep it happy?
