Default Throttle body pipe unknown

Hi guys
Mcould someone please tell me where the pipe at the top of the throttle body goes to and if I actually need it on my jdm sti I believe it could be a fuel purge pipe

I have no idea about that and i am not sure what you do and i think you want to check your throttle pipe any trusted mechanic.

Is it the coolant line for heating the throttle body.

If you only drive in summer (not now) then you can take the pipes off, just connect the pipes together and leave the connectors on the TB open. It's coolant yes but it actually runs 90 deg temp water through it to ensure the butterfly valve doesn't frost up...so heats your inlet temps!
