Default Up Pipe

hi, i bought a 3" up pipe, and 3"downpipe full exhaust, but the mechanic who is doing a service for me, who has worked on scoobies for a few years, recons i shouldnt put the up pipe on as i will suffer from turbo-lag, shurely after fitting them then getting it mapped i wont have any turbo-lag.
awaiting your opinions guys
Many thanks

3 inch is way to big for an up-pipe. Your mechanic is correct. What turbo are you using?

Ideally youd use the smallest diametre up-pipe possible thats not going to cost power. Speak to Harvey on here if you want to change it. Other than that. Stick with the stock pipe
