Default Andy Forrest re-map

Just a quick thread to say how impressed I was this morning when I had my 2004 WRX re-mapped by Andy. Very helpful knowledgable guy who has taken my car to a lovely 270bhp & 299lbs/ft of torque.
I really can't recommend Andy highly enough

So what did you change to get 270bhp? As want to do similar with my 2005 blob Wrx.
Also does it sound much different?
Cheers Phil

He is a great guy, very easy to talk with, and happy to explain stuff.
Remapped an 05STI for me.

Kinds of looks like he could be a geography teacher

I think 270 can be reached without mods mate. Or not many anyway

He's booked in to do my 2007 next week....
Urban - what level of re-map did he do for you and what kind of gains did you get? Sports cat or decat?

Hi guys
Yeah not many mods required. HKS BOV, HKS panel filter, PFR7B plugs, de cat up pipe, de cat 2nd cat and straight through centre section, Prodrive backbox, and of course the re-map. Standard down pipe still in place, so that's prob next which should give another 10-15bhp according to Andy

Default Andy Forrest re-map (and RA Motorsport Developments)

Just got the car back after it's re-map. Standard car up to 367 bhp and 412 lb /ft torque (and that's without a decat). Very happy. Totally agree with sweeneywrx; Andy did a great job and only to keen to demo what he was doing. Also a big thank you to the guys at RA Motorsport Developments in Perth. They were brilliant recommending the best parts etc and did a great job (ask for Andy Napier).

Nice day for a drive......
