Default esl problems

i have a 94 wrx and i changed my standard ecu to a 7k ecu v2 sti with a esl 2005 fitted and im getting no spark im gettin spark from my standard ecu and runs fine no probs change to the 7k and gettin no spark the resistor bit is cut i pressume this is to change it to the esl map i also took the esl board of the chip socket and still wont start also im pressuming it wouldnt start with the esl out the socket because the standard map is dissabled for in place of the esl.i looked at the daughter board and see no burnt or broken parts same with the ecu itself on back of the board no broken or burnt parts so why no spark????

anyone help much appreciated

The ignition drivers are on the motherboard, try the daughterboard in a different one.

ok ill try that if that thanks just have to tak off the chip holder and solder it into my spare ecu to try it or is it better gettin hold of another chip holder

Try rejoining the J1 on the 7K ECU and see if the problem remains.

rejoined the j1 connector car fired nae bother so esl board must be at fault id say it doesnt look dmaged is there anywhere is there anywhere i kin send it to to get it checked???
