I had the great joy of discovering my classic has the ESl daughter board last night!!

Finishing my last mods install this weekend (front mount + cam belt change) and looking to get mapped in Yorkshire - anyone about that can be recomended?

Was planning on going to SC but if i can save some £ on gas then id happy go closer to home, support loccal business and all that

 

Simon (jolly green monster) will travel to you and map the car

 

I emailed him a few weeks ago and never got a reply - wont it cost more if he has to travel from down south?

Check the board version number.

v1.0 - eprom adapter, not live mappable.
v1.2a - live mappable but old school, software dos based, not all tuners have this legacy software.
v2.0 - twin map, maf/mafless switch, brand new windows software with multi channel logging etc.

 

was installed in 2008 i think its the V1.2a not seen a picture of the V2.0 but looking at one i was watching on ebay and from what i remember it looks the same!

 

Hey guys been speaking to the guys at ESL directly, what a top bunch of guys! Customer service is 2nd to none and they have lined me up with a top guy to come and sort me out!!

 

Duncan @ Racedynamix is another that is mobile and who i use.

 

Thats who ESL recomended, hopefully seeing him nxt wed Happy Days!!!
