Subaru STi 330s Unable to read ECU file
Hey guys,
New to this forum, hope you guys are keeping well?
I have a 2009 Subaru WRX Sti 330s hatchback. I've just rebuilt my engine and deleted the secondary air pump. Im having issues with reading/retrieving the file from the ECU, to delete the codes out of the module. Im using Tactrix open port 2.0, is there anything I should know about e.i diagnostic mode ect. It has keyless entry, so I dunno if there's a different procedure with keyless systems.
Would this ECU already been mapped and I've been locked out of it? I have no history of the car being mapped, I have read about ECUTek.
Please advise
Thanks
David

yes will have the Prodrive ecu lock on it, not quite the same as an ECUTek lock but effectively stops ECUFlash from talking too it. Most subaru specialists will be able to map for you no issues though. Personally i wouldn't be charging you the earth to just knock off the codes for the SAI system - but your likely a little far to travel to sunny belfast just for that but ask around your local subaru specialists to see.
