Impreza GD WRX TMIC vs STI TMIC difference in IAT while cruising
My current map (PPP) is very sensitive to IAT changes. I wonder how much of a difference there is between a stock WRX tmic vs stock STI tmic in terms of IAT. Especially while cruising. Currently, on stock WRX tmic on a highway I see about 3C more than ambient air temp. Will swapping tmic to the STI version help with that, for example will I get IAT lower than ambient air temp? I DON'T have any problem with temperature rising during WOT (my temps usually drop couple of degrees during a pull).
Has anyone with STI tmic measure IAT during cruising? What numbers do you see compared to ambient temps?
