certainly makes the MD type ranges very good value for money - Blouch stuff was decent at one point but the ££ has nose dived against the $$...........

Bosch 9" angle grinder, same price as 25 years ago, although not the same product internally. Diamond blades cheaper now than 25 years ago too. You asked.

So downgraded product is same price?

and diamond blades are cheaper because of industrial diamond and its manufacture development so not using real diamonds anymore. A product change, not the same product.

Just saying hahaha

Why not try another brand of turbo ?
I'm running a Mamba that is as good as any Garrett I've used to date.
What do you intend on using the car for and what and sort of power are you aiming at ?

I’m afraid a “mamba” isn’t as good as any Garret turbo

I'm only going by personal experience, I've used Garret turbos of all specs for nearly 20+ years along with offerings from precision and Borg Warner and Holset, the only Garrett I haven't used is the newest gen 2 GTX models.
I don't know if Mamba or Kinugawa have had quality issues in the past but the turbos I've used over the last few years and in my current STI perform as well as anything else at the same spec.
A mates S2000 I built has done 25k + miles on a Mamba gtx35 without any issues and my current gtx3071 has now done nearly 10k miles producing performance on par with other units double the price.
