Hawkeye ecu on blob engine, possible?
Good evening people.
I've had a search and can't find much info.
basically I have a kit car running a 2004 sti engine and want to convert it to drive by wire for various reasons.
The question is can this be done? I'm happy to replace the wiring loom but unsure if the engine side will work with a blob engine.
by changing to a hawk ecu I can run the drive by wire throttle and can use the ecutek racerom which would be preferred.
Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.
cheers

avcs sensors are probably the first issue you'll come across, they are a different setup and not interchangeable with your 2.0 setup. If you love that engine look at an aftermarket ECU that supports drivebywire, otherwise might be easier to switch up to a 2.5 engine (ideally with pistons/headgaskets etc. sorted before you fit it).
