Default Fuel pump

getting me car mapped end of next month.

First map of the car and the mapper thinks I could achieve between 290 & 300bhp.

what I wanted to know was, is it worth changing the fuel pump or would the standard pump be fine ?. I'm driving a 2008 wrx. If so, what pump do people recommend ?.

Cheers

better safe than sorry, and they dont cost a lot.

i changed mine to the RCM 340 pump and also the main fuel filter when i got my 09 sti but it had like 80k mile on it

just to note, newage pumps dont fit. 08 onwards use a smaller housing/design pump

I was looking at an rcm pump actually but didn't know if it would be overkill. Had any problems with it ?. I'm assuming the pump that you've linked will be fine for my 08 then as it's advertised as being for an 08 onwards ?

wouldn't say its overkill. No problems at all with it, just fit and forget.

SWRD have slightly lower lph output pumps at slightly lower price - and they also have warranty on them

at the time i got the RCM pump for good money

I'm gonna go for an rcm. It's got some good reviews so I'll see how it goes with that I reckon.

We offer a 325LPH and a 340LPH pump for the hatch

http://www.scoobyworx.com/swrd-colos...mp-15606-p.asp

If your looking for a bargain then we are clearing the 325LPH pumps at a reduced price but they are normally £89.99

http://www.scoobyworx.com/swrd-colos...mp-13740-p.asp

Both come with a 2 year warranty and are from the same manufacturer as our Claasic and Newage pumps which are the best available

"SCOOBYNET" will also give you discount

Is the 340 a newer model than the 325?
