Remapped ecu advise wanted
Can anyone tell me if this ecu with work on my 2001 wrx, i have the following uprated parts waiting to be fitted...vf35 turbo, walbro 255 pump, pink injectors and huge top mount intercooler, car is already fitted with decat 3" exhaust system.

no once the ecu is licensed any of us with the ECUTek cable/software can write a fresh map to the ECU to suit the car
If it was me I'd be thinking about an opensource map with carberry though, the launch great for building boost and of course you save on license fees and having to get that ECU coded to your car.
Unless your planning to add AVCS heads later then there's no benefit to the STI ecu over a WRX one like you have now in my opinion.

Avoid it .... its states its an STi ecu and you have a WRX, there are hardware differences
And you will probably break your 5 speed gearbox using launch control on it
Once an EcuTek licence is in an ecu then any EcuTek dealer can use it. They cannot see whats in there. But any decent tuner would want to map it their way in any case.
£120 is a very decent price for it the licence is more than that
