Default eculabs

Hi,

I read forums for eculabs what do you think about for my99 classic?

I don't want extreme powers or many features.I want to get rid of maf, multi map, boost control and maybe als.

I want to use my stock internal engine with spec c manifolds and vf36(upgraded fuel system).

I want durable and stable system. Maybe next i'll install v4 sti heads and cams.

Or will i search something like alcatek board? My power estimates about rough 300-320hp

Regards,

Semih

if your busting to delete the MAF then it can be done with ECUlabs, but it would most likely be easier to do it with link/simtek/alcatek. The ECULabs stuff is great for DIY when your keeping the MAF though and it won't take you long to get up and running.

For your power targets you don't need to go mafless unless your maf is stuffed, but the conversion to speed density (iat sensor install/additional mapping/setup time) will likely cost you more than the new maf sensor for now.

300-320hp eating mafs? 350+ I'd agree with you but can't see 300/320hp being a MAF issue for daily use.

I changed MAF 7-8 months ago with 93k km stock engine(no modifications no filter etc.) It broke down on road. Engine was stalled and i didn't on full throttle i was on cruise like 80 kph

I don't like MAF, i think it's insecure.
