Hi all hope all well.

Had my 06 Hawk WRX remapped about a year ago following a few replacement parts and a decat downpipe. All good. My centre cat is buggered and I'm going to replace it with a decat pipe.

Question is... Will it need remapping again to be safe? Aware I might not make peak power etc. But not too concerned about that. Safety is what I need.

Been a few years since I owned my wrx but I'm sure I removed my 2nd cat and didn't need remapping
I removed it for the added noise

 

Cheers amigo much obliged for the feedback. Im sure I had read a thread on here which suggests it might be necessary but that could have been decat downpipe. I've slept many times since then so it's long gone!
