Default dcatting + remap

Just curious, my garage is 40 odd mile from where I will be remapping the car. 2003 JDM Sti twinscroll.

Ill be fitting a 3" decatted downpipe and catback, fuel pump and 3 port the day before. If I dont connect the 3 port, and only connect it up at the dyno will I be ok to drive the car off boost that 40 odd mile trip with the engine check light because of the decatted system ?

stay off boost an you will be fine, boost control is a big issue when you decat the down pipe, so if your off boost you will be fine.

can you just ask your mapper to fit 3 port when you get there to be safe? that's what I did when I was mapping mine, decatted, fitted fuel pump and got to the mapper about 50 miles away who then fitted 3 port and did the mapping.
