Been trying for a week to get drivers installed for this blue ebay cable that would work with Ecu Flash but no joy. Finally opened cable and found a CH340t serial converter chip instead of the FTDI 232 that genuine cables should have. Can get it to install as a com port listed as CH340 but then Ecu Flash says no interface connected and the serial converter driver isnt listed under other or any other section in device manager. The older software EcuExplorer sees the cable and is quite happy with it but doesnt work with my 2005 DBW. Anyone else came across this and has a solution ? Changing the chip wont work as the CH340t is a 20 pin package and a FT232 is 28 pin.

are you using the older version of ECUflash? The current version doesn't work from what I remember.
