Default How much bhp for a remap

Hi guys,

Any ideas what sort of figures would I be looking at for a remap on my blob eye Wrx?

Has the prodrive pack already, lightened pulleys, sti top mounted intercooler and decat up pipe.

Cheers

Luke

Needs a Sports Cat/decat fitted. That's where the restriction is and that's where increase power will be found. Not really cost effective to remap without the exhaust post turbo sorted.

Lightened pulleys - negligible increase

sti top mounted intercooler - Standard WRX I/C is not a restriction until well into the 300s, so no real gain to be had. Will increase lag as more volume to be filled, if anything.

decat up pipe - will reduce spool time which is good but doesn't do much for power increase.

Maybe 270 with that lot, depends what health your engine is in currently.

With sports/decat and probably an uprated fuel pump, you would be looking at 280+

The second rear cat is deleted as part of the PPP on the Blob WRX. The the up pipe and primary cats remain. It's the primary cat that is restricting the power.

I'd look to get a Sports Cat fitted before a remap if it was my money. Decent panel filter and uprated fuel pump too.
