sensor-iat? where to get/what spec
found this iat sensor[i think] in the t/b end of my intercooler on my sd mapped sti....its slightly loose in its brass body and i can blow through it a wee bit-so looking for a replacement-now it doesnt look new, looks very like the ones found on a yb[doesnt say webber marelli or anything],but could do with getting one with the same spec to save any major calibration issues...any pointers folks

sadly no,no writing at all on it
i think its a chinese one-so i may have sourced a repacement
i need to check it provides the same readings like for like temperature wise
in which case all good
if not its a bit of a pain as the readings will be out for the map

any motor factors will hold a range of sensors, you could match it up that way if you have a continuity meter to match the resistance,
can u make up a quick test bench with meter and some hot water, so you can do the same test with a new sensor to see if you get the same resistance with the same temps?

hopefully the new one will be air tight lol or its araldite or superglue to seal
the gent that mapped[very helpful] it is sending me an iat to replace it and a fresh map taking that into account
this sensor required an offset of 10 for the sensor reading compared to the ones of a known quality...sounds good
