Default P0335 p0031 help

Hey, engine management light has been on my bugeye wrx for a while so decided to buy a code reader, I got the above codes which after a search I believe is camshaft sensor and front o2 sensor?? Am I correct?
Also car drives and starts perfectly no sign of a faulty camshaft sensor.

Is there a chance when I done my oil change I disconnected the crankshaft sensor to build up oil pressure, could this of triggered the code?

Yes. When I done my oil change I had the same thing. Cleared it and all good now. Probably about time for a new o2 sensor too. Changed mine myself, and it was an absolute ball ache.

Thanks for that, any idea if the front o2 sensor is easy to get at? Is there different codes for each o2 sensor? Don't want to change one and the code be for another, if that makes sense

Yes different codes bank1 headers bank 2 down pipe. Normally bank 1 fails. Is a bit of a pain change but plenty of wd40 and a 22mm spanner (if i remember right) and job done. Its on right hand side so front wheel off and arch liner out makes life easier

yup - tis a 22mm spanner all right, but you don't need the whole arch liner out there's a little flap you can remove for access to the sensor.

o2 sensor socket makes it easier for sure, but a standard 22mm spanner will get on there no hassle. Routing the cable can be a bit of a cow so get that out of the way first then you'll be able to spin it easily.

Wish mine was as easy as it sounds. Had to cut a rusty bolt out of the heatshield, then couldn't get enough leverage on the spanner to crack the denso seal. Didn't have a sensor socket, so had to cut the back off the old sensor and use a normal socket with a long extension. Then it took a long breaker bar and 2 of us to get the thing loose. Easy job in theory though!

It's possible that the O2 sensor is fine but you have a problem further along the wiring to the ECU.

If you have a multimeter, you can test the resistance across the O2 sensor, to determine if it is duff or whether you have a different issue.
