Default Can I add a temp sensor and log on esl?

Im running with a v3 still using the maf. Is there a way to log intake temps from after the ic from a temp sensor?

I know this can be done when mafless, but im not going that way just yet.

I would of thought you could splice pin 1 of the IAT to the 5v from the throttle pot and splice pin 2 to the maf signal wire then the ecu logs will then show IAT ?
Not done it as I'm mafless with IAT from JT innovations

I cheated and just put a basic IAT into the silicone hose from intercooler to thriottle body and keep an eye on inlet temps this way, didnt fancy cutting more wires using MAF

let uis know if you manage it and if it works, with pics

I bought a cheap one for my old car but heard some horror stories about the probe coming off and getting sucked into the throttle body so I never fitted it,then car got stolen
Back in another Scooby now and already has ESL running mafless.
Thing is it just reads a constant 24 degrees in the logs?
I need to put a post up about this but need to see what the calibration figures and offset is set to. I think it's 8156 with offset at 400(will have a look tonight)It does give some figures in the ESL manual but when I used them it read a constant -20 degrees, the same reading I was getting on my old car which was running on maf load Without IAT sensor.

I think the standard airbox is good for around 400 bhp? It's about where my car is at the moment so it has an induction kit on which I'm guessing makes the maf even more prone to failure?
As I already bought it like this I'm going to stick with the mafless set up.
