Default Flexfuel map 102/98 octane

Heyy guys,

Ever heared of a flexfuel map where you can put 98 octane in the tank bit also 102 octane, even mixed.

Heared it will run on the lowest octane leven in the tank when mixed.

Ever heared of it?

Not Subaru specific, but most OE ECUs will adjust over a 4 RON range, just lower octane than quoted. With the right setup they can adjust fuel, boost, timing to suit. Some E85 flex fuel setups without ethanol content sensors monitor fuel level so they detect a refuel event and use a faster octane learning strategy.
