Just a quick question

I have a wrx with body damage, and I am reshelling into an sti shell

Will the Sti loom work on the WRX engine (with the WRX ECU of course)

It is an 02 bugeye

I would rather not change the loom if possible, and just the ECU

Yes, but as you say you will need to use your wrx ecu.

Thanks, I assume all connectors are the same etc on the engine side

obviously no Variable Valve AVCS etc on the WRX engine

Yeah all connectors are the same, but yeah on AVCS.
