Evening.Have swapped engine out of my SVX, as possible big end problem and managed to import another.Went back in a treat,came as long engine and with just in theory plugging electricals in.Car starts on cold,but over fuels once warm,black smoke,running rough.We changed all the sensors,plugs and manifold,cleaned throttle bodies,engine loom(all off old engine as it was running fine before hand,but wont be sold until new engine up and running).,had spare AFM,injectors went for service and checked timing again.Went for a code read,came up with 23(maf),34(egr-both engines don't have one)and 45-pressure sensor in ECU(which came up three years ago,but never put the check engine light on).ECU is not mappable.So what Im asking,can someone recommend where or who I can take the car to be continuity tested or is familer with the OBD1 plug system.I might even have to look at a new ecu/mafless.Anybody!
