Default 2000 Turbo 2000 Remap?

Hi all on my V Reg(2000) UK Turbo 2000 It has a Y7 3 Plug ECU, any idea if its able to be remapped? Thanks in advance

yeah you can remap it using ecutek or eculabs

Thought the uk 2000's 99-00 were 4 plug Grey?

No, they're 3 plug, and you can get them remapped, as above. Open source too.

Yes thats what i mean't.

Thanks for clearing that up, so there 4 plug but one is blanked off

Hi all. Does this mean that the standard ecu's that come in turbo 2000 are re programmable? I was under the impression that to get a remap you would first have to buy a programmable ecu (ecutek), and then have it remapped. Would this mean that having your standard ecu remapped would be cheaper as I believe it's around £500-£600 to have a mappable ecu fitted and programmed? Sorry for what might be stupid questions.

taylor85 has already answered that question. 1999> ECU is mappable. Pre 99 mappable with the use of ESL
