've a question about the older 4plug ecu & newer 3plug harness on the classic imprezas. I've bought a type r with a 3plug harness & got my hands on an alcatek 4 plug ecu for next to nothing. Is there an adopter I can buy or how would you go about getting this to fit? Any thing I need to add / remove to make this work? I'm sure it's been done many times but can't find any clear diagrams or info on how to do it. I've also posted this on scooby ireland. Thanks

 

much handier to sell, and buy the 3plug suitable for your car, they are not a rare item, for all the hassle and expense of chopping it to fit likely not worth it

 

Thanks for the reply. That was a last option and I don't want to chop into anything on the car. I was hoping someone could or has made a harness that would plug into the cars 3 plug loom with 4 plugs on the end to go into the alcatek ecu.
