Fuel cut

Default Fuel cut

Hi peeps been having a bit of problem maybe someone else has had that could help me with

Pretty sure my apexi boost control solenoid is knackered as it clicks like mad sometimes when i turn ignition on and goes away once fired up but when i floor the pedal i get what i think is fuel cut also with cel flashing and clicking noise

Stop driving the car mate!! Flashing CEL is the knock sensor telling you there's knock occurring in the engine. Get rid of the boost controller and put the Subaru control system back in place until you get sorted. Ticking noise? From the engine? It might already be too late for your crank.

Hi bud its not the engine thats ticking and it does it randomly i've got apexi power fc and avcr boost controller fitted it could be i need timing retarded or something but was puzzled about boost solenoid clicking like mad with just ignition on (car not started) again this is just random hence why i thought solenoid was on way out thanks

Ah, I think the power fc can be configured to flash the CEL as a shift light. Maybe get it off to a mapper who knows what they're doing to get it all checked. Not worth losing an engine over!

What car is it, if the diagnosis plugs are connected under the coloum it will click your relays and things

Hi yes I'm sure its set to flash for 3 things knock being one of them
Symptoms are overboost feeling when it happens but like i say clicking from solenoid when just powered up is very strange cheers

Thats what it sounds like when it dies it bud but the plugs aren't connected. Cars a v2 type ra with fmic. Whalbro pump. 555 nismo injectors. Decat. Tdo5g Apexi induction apexi power fc. Apexi avcr boost controller. Car was mapped with mods

Could it be as simple as a boost leak that occurs on heavy load?
