Hi I'm new to this forum and I'm after a bit of advice, I bought a 2002 wrx estate yesterday from a garage, they said it was taken in part ex, the salesman told me it had a chip on it that comes into play when you push the heated rear window switch, having driven the car it does make a big diffrence to the acceleration when you push this switch, I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on what it might be and how safe it is, as it was taken as a part ex the salesman couldn't tell me any more, is it safe? Is it a chip? Is it better to remove and get a custom map? Does anyone have any idea what it is

doubt its a chip that sounds most likely a ECUTEK remap as they have a high and low boost function on the rear demister switch
