Can anyone possibly give me any information on this chip please, is in a 95 wrx wagon that I was checking over for someone today.

v1.0, eprom adaptor, not live mappable. May not be the correct image for a td04 turbo.

 

The car has a td05, full decat and thats about it as far as I can see.
Do you happen to know wwhat settings the chip is meant to make the car run etc ?
At the minute it has a incorrectly installed ebc which I have tturned off for now so just running .6 bar atm.

What supporting mods should it have for this chip/board ?

It would probably be best to rip it out and fit and an esl board but they only bought the car last weekend so just trying to figure out what it's got and if it's safe atm.

There were 2 images, one for td05 and one for td04. If the eproms haven't been reprogrammed they are designed for a standard car to boost at 1.1bar with a bit less fuel and ignition.

I replaced the stock 3 port tonight instead of the incorrectly fitted ebc and can confirm the car boosts 1.1 bar beautifully and the smile on the owners face said it made a nice difference

Interested in hearing about the possibility of upgrades though.

My ESL is going off tomorrow for the Motorsport package to be uploaded. It will have anti lag and launch control added (for fun )

I honestly can't fault Andy/ESL at all. Excellent support with software and also hardware/car advice.

 

Thanks Colin, appreciate the words. The pack comes with flatshift and traction control all thrown in as well, but you can turn off what you don't want. For flatshift, you need to install a brake switch on the clutch, the bracket is already there for it.

Tim, I just meant upgrading to the latest live board, I can't do much with the v1.0 I'm afraid, my EPROM programmer was put away many years ago.
